নির্ধারিত পোশাক (ইউনিফর্ম) : ২৩৪ :
(a) Such of the staff as may be required to wear uniforms must always do so while on duty. Neglect to do so will render employees liable to punishment.
(ক) যেসব কর্মকর্তা-কর্মচারীর জন্য নির্ধারিত পোশাক (ইউনিফর্ম) পরা বাধ্যতামূলক, তাদের ডিউটিরত অবস্থায় সর্বদা তা পরিধান করতে হবে। এই নিয়ম অমান্য করলে সংশ্লিষ্ট কর্মচারীদের শাস্তির মুখোমুখি হতে হবে।
(b) Those members of the staff who have to provide their own uniform must maintain it complete and in a good state.
(খ) যেসব কর্মচারীকে নিজস্ব খরচে ইউনিফর্ম তৈরি বা সংগ্রহ করতে হয়, তাদের অবশ্যই তা সম্পূর্ণ এবং পরিপাটি অবস্থায় বজায় রাখতে হবে।
(c) Foremen and other supervising staff must see that their men keep themselves neat and tidy.
(গ) ফোরম্যান এবং অন্যান্য তত্ত্বাবধায়ক কর্মীদের অবশ্যই খেয়াল রাখতে হবে যেন তাদের অধীনস্থ কর্মীরা নিজেদের পরিষ্কার-পরিচ্ছন্ন ও পরিপাটি রাখেন।
(d) When an employee leaves the service, all clothing issued to him within six months prior to the date of his leaving the service, must be returned to the District Officer through his Shed in Charge failing this , the value of the articles at the rates at which they were issued, will be recovered from the employee . When clothing has been issued to an employee more than six months before leaving the service, he must return all articles of clothing last issued to him failing which, the whole or part of the cost there of as may be considered sufficient by the District Officer , will be recovered from his sues. Metal badges and buttons must always be returned irrespective of the date of issue or period worn.
(ঘ) কোনো কর্মচারী চাকরি থেকে অব্যাহতি নেওয়ার সময়, তার চলে যাওয়ার তারিখের পূর্ববর্তী ছয় মাসের মধ্যে তাকে দেওয়া সমস্ত পোশাক সংশ্লিষ্ট শেড-ইন-চার্জের মাধ্যমে জেলা কর্মকর্তার কাছে ফেরত দিতে হবে। অন্যথায় উক্ত পোশাকগুলোর তৎকালীন ইস্যুকৃত মূল্যের সমপরিমাণ অর্থ সংশ্লিষ্ট কর্মচারীর কাছ থেকে আদায় করা হবে। যদি কোনো কর্মচারীকে চাকরি ছাড়ার ছয় মাসেরও বেশি সময় আগে পোশাক দেওয়া হয়ে থাকে, তবে তাকে সর্বশেষ দেওয়া পোশাকগুলো অবশ্যই ফেরত দিতে হবে। তা করতে ব্যর্থ হলে জেলা কর্মকর্তার বিবেচনা অনুযায়ী আংশিক বা সম্পূর্ণ মূল্য তার পাওনা থেকে কেটে নেওয়া হবে। ধাতব ব্যাজ এবং বোতামগুলো ইস্যুর তারিখ বা ব্যবহারের সময়কাল বিবেচনা না করেই সর্বদা ফেরত দিতে হবে।
