(a) A list of relief cranes , showing the sections over which they normally operate, will be found in p ara 1416.
(ক) উদ্ধারকারী ক্রেনগুলোর তালিকা এবং সেগুলো সাধারণত কোন কোন সেকশনে কাজ করে, তা ১৪১৬ অনুচ্ছেদে পাওয়া যাবে।
(b) In case of an accident occurring requiring the assistance of a relief crane, the Loco Foreman whose headquarters are nearest to the place of accident will immediately dispatch his relief cranes, which may be a 40,30,20 or 15 ton steam crane or a 10 ton hand crane according to where the accident takes place and provided no restriction exists against it working there .
(খ) কোনো দুর্ঘটনার জন্য যদি উদ্ধারকারী ক্রেনের সহায়তার প্রয়োজন হয়, তবে দুর্ঘটনাস্থলের সবচেয়ে কাছের লোকো ফোরম্যান অবিলম্বে তার উদ্ধারকারী ক্রেন পাঠাবেন। দুর্ঘটনাস্থল এবং সেখানে ক্রেন চলাচলের ওপর কোনো নিষেধাজ্ঞা না থাকার শর্তে এটি ৪০, ৩০, ২০ বা ১৫ টনের স্টিম ক্রেন অথবা ১০ টনের হ্যান্ড ক্রেন হতে পারে।
(c) When the nearest running shed in one at which only a 10 ton crane is located and the accident is of such a nature that a steam relief crane is required, special application must be made for the latter through the control or by telegram to the Loco Foreman with a copy to the district officer concerned.
(গ) যদি সবচেয়ে কাছের রানিং শেডে কেবল ১০ টনের ক্রেন থাকে এবং দুর্ঘটনাটি এমন প্রকৃতির হয় যার জন্য স্টিম উদ্ধারকারী ক্রেন প্রয়োজন, তবে কন্ট্রোল বা টেলিগ্রামের মাধ্যমে সংশ্লিষ্ট লোকো ফোরম্যানের কাছে বিশেষ আবেদন করতে হবে এবং এর একটি কপি সংশ্লিষ্ট জেলা কর্মকর্তার কাছে পাঠাতে হবে।
(d) In telegrams the words 40 ton steam crane , 30 ton steam crane ,15 ton steam crane or 12 ton steam crane as the case may be must be written and signalled in full. The Loco Foreman wired to is to take immediate action to dispatch the crane utilizing any engine that happen, to be ready at the moment with due regard to restrictions. Unless the wire ask for the crane to be dispatched by goods train in which case , he must arrange with the station master for its dispatch by first through goods train.
(ঘ) টেলিগ্রামে পরিস্থিতি অনুযায়ী '৪০ টন স্টিম ক্রেন', '৩০ টন স্টিম ক্রেন', '১৫ টন স্টিম ক্রেন' বা '১২ টন স্টিম ক্রেন' শব্দগুলো সম্পূর্ণ লিখতে ও সিগন্যাল দিতে হবে। টেলিগ্রাম পাওয়ার পর লোকো ফোরম্যান ক্রেন চলাচলের বিধিনিষেধ বিবেচনা করে তাৎক্ষণিকভাবে প্রস্তুত থাকা যেকোনো ইঞ্জিন ব্যবহার করে ক্রেনটি পাঠানোর ব্যবস্থা করবেন। তবে টেলিগ্রামে যদি মালবাহী (গুডস) ট্রেনে ক্রেনটি পাঠানোর অনুরোধ করা হয়, সে ক্ষেত্রে তিনি স্টেশন মাস্টারের সাথে যোগাযোগ করে প্রথম সরাসরি মালবাহী ট্রেনে এটি পাঠানোর ব্যবস্থা করবেন।
(e) The special telegraphic application for the steam crane referred to in paragraph (c) above may be made by any official of the operating branch and the name and designation of the sender of the telegram must be clearly stated in it. The telegram should also mention whether the crane should be dispatched by special engine or by first through goods train. If no method of dispatch is defined in the telegram the crane will be dispatched by special engine.
(ঙ) উপরে (গ) অনুচ্ছেদে উল্লিখিত স্টিম ক্রেনের জন্য বিশেষ টেলিগ্রাম আবেদনটি অপারেটিং শাখার যেকোনো কর্মকর্তা করতে পারেন এবং টেলিগ্রামে প্রেরকের নাম ও পদবি স্পষ্টভাবে উল্লেখ থাকতে হবে। ক্রেনটি বিশেষ ইঞ্জিন নাকি প্রথম সরাসরি মালবাহী ট্রেনে পাঠানো হবে, তাও টেলিগ্রামে উল্লেখ করতে হবে। টেলিগ্রামে পাঠানোর কোনো নির্দিষ্ট মাধ্যম উল্লেখ না থাকলে, ক্রেনটি বিশেষ ইঞ্জিনের সাহায্যে পাঠানো হবে।
(f) If the steam relief crane wired for be away from the station the loco foreman under whose charge the crane is , must exercise his discretion as to the advisability of recalling it according to the nature of the work it is being utilized on and its distance away or wire to the running shed foreman of the shed where another steam relief crane is located nearest to the scene of accident, to dispatch the crane to the scene of accident. Should be decide on the latter alternative , a copy of the telegram must be sent to the official at site of accident who applied for the crane and also to the district officer concerned. The running shed foreman wire to will act as indicated in paragraph (d) above.
(চ) যদি কাঙ্ক্ষিত স্টিম উদ্ধারকারী ক্রেনটি স্টেশনের বাইরে থাকে, তবে সংশ্লিষ্ট লোকো ফোরম্যান ক্রেনটি যে কাজের জন্য ব্যবহৃত হচ্ছে তার গুরুত্ব এবং দূরত্বের ওপর ভিত্তি করে সেটিকে ফিরিয়ে আনা সমীচীন হবে কি না তা নিজের বিচক্ষণতা দিয়ে নির্ধারণ করবেন। অথবা তিনি দুর্ঘটনাস্থলের সবচেয়ে কাছে অবস্থিত অন্য একটি রানিং শেডের ফোরম্যানকে টেলিগ্রামের মাধ্যমে ক্রেনটি দুর্ঘটনাস্থলে পাঠানোর অনুরোধ করবেন। যদি তিনি দ্বিতীয় বিকল্পটি বেছে নেন, তবে টেলিগ্রামের একটি কপি দুর্ঘটনাস্থলে আবেদনকারী কর্মকর্তা এবং সংশ্লিষ্ট জেলা কর্মকর্তার কাছে পাঠাতে হবে। টেলিগ্রামপ্রাপ্ত রানিং শেড ফোরম্যান পূর্বোক্ত (ঘ) অনুচ্ছেদের নির্দেশনা অনুযায়ী কাজ করবেন।
(g) It a second steam crane is required , a special application must be made by telegram to the running shed foreman of the nearest shed where another steam crane is located, copy as before to the district officer concerned. The telegram should also mention the method of a dispatch, i.e . whether by special engine or by first through goods train, The Running shed foreman wired to will act as indicated in paragraph (d) abode
(ছ) যদি দ্বিতীয় আরেকটি স্টিম ক্রেনের প্রয়োজন হয়, তবে নিকটবর্তী যে শেডে আরেকটি স্টিম ক্রেন রয়েছে সেখানকার রানিং শেড ফোরম্যানের কাছে টেলিগ্রামের মাধ্যমে বিশেষ আবেদন করতে হবে এবং পূর্বের মতোই সংশ্লিষ্ট জেলা কর্মকর্তার কাছে এর কপি পাঠাতে হবে। টেলিগ্রামে পাঠানোর মাধ্যম (বিশেষ ইঞ্জিন নাকি প্রথম সরাসরি মালবাহী ট্রেন) উল্লেখ করতে হবে। টেলিগ্রামপ্রাপ্ত রানিং শেড ফোরম্যান পূর্বোক্ত (ঘ) অনুচ্ছেদের নির্দেশনা অনুযায়ী কাজ করবেন।
(h) If other assistance is required in addition to the crane, this should be stated in the telegram calling for the crane. When a steam relief crane is required at a considerable distance from where it is stationed, the assisting gang if also required, can follow by passenger train, unless circumstances render it desireable for such gang to travel with the crane special. Such assistance, however, if obtainable nearer at hand than from the crane headquarters should be so procured.
(জ) ক্রেন ছাড়াও অন্য কোনো সহায়তার প্রয়োজন হলে ক্রেন চাওয়ার টেলিগ্রামেই তা উল্লেখ করতে হবে। যখন স্টিম উদ্ধারকারী ক্রেনটি তার অবস্থানস্থল থেকে অনেক দূরে নিয়ে যাওয়ার প্রয়োজন হয়, তখন উদ্ধারকারী দল (যদি প্রয়োজন হয়) যাত্রীবাহী ট্রেনে চড়ে সেখানে যেতে পারে, যদি না পরিস্থিতি এমন হয় যে তাদের ক্রেনের সাথেই বিশেষ ট্রেনে ভ্রমণ করতে হবে। তবে ক্রেন সদর দপ্তরের চেয়ে কাছাকাছি কোনো স্থান থেকে এই ধরনের সাহায্য পাওয়া সম্ভব হলে সেখান থেকেই তা সংগ্রহ করা উচিত।
(i) When there is no brake van or guard available for the dispatch of a brake down crane, the loco foreman must arrange to attach his relief van as brake van and send a competent person to act as guard.
(ঝ) ব্রেকডাউন ক্রেন পাঠানোর জন্য যদি কোনো ব্রেক ভ্যান বা গার্ড পাওয়া না যায়, তবে লোকো ফোরম্যানকে তার উদ্ধারকারী ভ্যানটিকে ব্রেক ভ্যান হিসেবে যুক্ত করার ব্যবস্থা করতে হবে এবং গার্ড হিসেবে কাজ করার জন্য একজন যোগ্য ব্যক্তিকে পাঠাতে হবে।
