Examination of Engines and Tenders which have been off the Road : 1406 :
লাইনচ্যুত হওয়া বা দুর্ঘটনাগ্রস্ত ইঞ্জিন এবং টেন্ডার পরীক্ষা করা: ১৪০৬:
An engine or tender which has been derailed , must not be booked out again until the following examination has been carried out .
লাইনচ্যুত হওয়া কোনো ইঞ্জিন বা টেন্ডারকে নিম্নলিখিত পরীক্ষাগুলো সম্পন্ন না করা পর্যন্ত পুনরায় ডিউটিতে বুকিং দেওয়া যাবে না:
(a) Engine and tender should be disconnected and drawger examined.
(ক) ইঞ্জিন এবং টেন্ডার আলাদা করতে হবে এবং ড্র-গিয়ার পরীক্ষা করতে হবে。
(b) Tender axle boxes should be opened and bearings and liners examined to see that neither have been displaced.
(খ) টেন্ডারের এক্সেল বক্সগুলো খুলতে হবে এবং বিয়ারিং ও লাইনারগুলো পরীক্ষা করে দেখতে হবে যে সেগুলোর কোনোটি স্থানচ্যুত হয়েছে কি না。
(c) All springs and spring connexions should be examined and engine and tender weighed and adjusted where facilities for weighing exist.
(গ) সমস্ত স্প্রিং এবং স্প্রিং সংযোগগুলো পরীক্ষা করতে হবে এবং যেখানে ওজন করার সুবিধা রয়েছে সেখানে ইঞ্জিন ও টেন্ডারের ওজন মেপে সমন্বয় করতে হবে。
In the event of the derailment taking place at a wayside station, and the re-railling being done by the engine crew, the driver must , as far as possible, carry out the examinations mentioned above, before proceeding on his journey.
যদি কোনো ছোট বা ওয়েসাইড স্টেশনে লাইনচ্যুতির ঘটনা ঘটে এবং ইঞ্জিন ক্রুদের দ্বারা পুনরায় লাইনে তোলার কাজ সম্পন্ন করা হয়, তবে চালক বা ড্রাইভারকে যাত্রা শুরু করার আগে যথাসম্ভব ওপরে উল্লিখিত পরীক্ষাগুলো সম্পন্ন করতে হবে।
