An allowance of one day's pay will be made to drivers and firemen for each 100 miles run with traffic trains, light engines or when acting as pilot to another driver or working an attatched engines, but not with ballast engines. This allowance is in addition to substantive pay and covers all detentions, shunting at road side stations and running train up to a total eight hours for men in class II .
ট্রাফিক ট্রেন, লাইট ইঞ্জিন চালানো বা অন্য কোনো চালকের পাইলট হিসেবে কাজ করার সময় অথবা সংযুক্ত ইঞ্জিনে কাজ করার সময় প্রতি ১০০ মাইল চলার জন্য চালক ও ফায়ারম্যানদের একদিনের বেতনের সমপরিমাণ ভাতা দেওয়া হবে, তবে ব্যালাস্ট ইঞ্জিনের ক্ষেত্রে এটি প্রযোজ্য হবে না। এই ভাতাটি মূল বেতনের অতিরিক্ত হিসেবে প্রদান করা হবে এবং এর আওতায় দ্বিতীয় শ্রেণীর কর্মীদের ক্ষেত্রে ট্রেন আটকে থাকা, রাস্তার ধারের স্টেশনগুলোতে শান্টিং করা এবং ট্রেন চালানোসহ মোট আট ঘণ্টা পর্যন্ত সমস্ত কাজ অন্তর্ভুক্ত থাকবে。
For any time od duty over eight for in class II twelve and a half miles will be allowed for every hour worked , this allowance will be in addition to the actual mileage run but will not be paid when time is lost due to negligence on the part of the engine crew. Rest taken on the road should be deducted from the hours on duty. Engine crews working on goods train on which two sent of crews are provided to work the train by turns,one set of crew which remains spare on the train will be paid 50 miles for every eight hours.
দ্বিতীয় শ্রেণীর কর্মীদের ক্ষেত্রে আট ঘণ্টার অতিরিক্ত ডিউটির জন্য প্রতি ঘণ্টার কাজের বিপরীতে সাড়ে বারো মাইল হিসেবে অতিরিক্ত ভাতা দেওয়া হবে। এই ভাতাটি প্রকৃত অতিক্রান্ত মাইলেজের অতিরিক্ত হিসেবে যোগ হবে, তবে ইঞ্জিন ক্রুদের অবহেলার কারণে সময় নষ্ট হলে এই ভাতা দেওয়া হবে না। পথে নেওয়া বিশ্রামের সময়টুকু ডিউটির মোট কর্মঘণ্টা থেকে বাদ দিতে হবে。
A shunter (Passed driver) who is booked in the aforesaid goods trains as a driver will be treated ad s such during the period he remains spare.
যেসব মালবাহী ট্রেনে পর্যায়ক্রমে কাজ করার জন্য দুই সেট ইঞ্জিন ক্রুর ব্যবস্থা থাকে, সেই ট্রেনগুলোতে কর্মরত ক্রুদের মধ্যে যে সেটটি ট্রেনে অতিরিক্ত বা বিশ্রামে (স্পেয়ার) থাকবে, তাদের প্রতি আট ঘণ্টার জন্য ৫০ মাইলের সমপরিমাণ ভাতা দেওয়া হবে。
Engine crews engaged on making and taking over, of engines will be paid overtime at the rate of 50 miles for every 8 hours for the period actually taken for such work.
একজন শান্টার (যিনি চালক পরীক্ষায় উত্তীর্ণ), যিনি উপরোক্ত মালবাহী ট্রেনে চালক হিসেবে বুকড থাকবেন, তিনি অতিরিক্ত বা বিশ্রামে থাকার সময়কালেও চালক হিসেবেই গণ্য হবেন。
