দুর্ঘটনায় প্রাথমিক চিকিৎসা : ৩১১:

First Aid in Accidents: 311:

(ক) সমস্ত তত্ত্বাবধায়ক বা সুপারভাইজারদের প্রাথমিক চিকিৎসা (First Aid) বিষয়ে প্রশিক্ষণপ্রাপ্ত হতে হবে।

(a) All supervisor should be trained First Aiders.

(খ) প্রতিটি শপ এবং ইঞ্জিন শেডে নিজস্ব প্রাথমিক চিকিৎসা ক্যাবিনেট (First Aid Cabinet) এবং স্ট্রেচার বক্স রয়েছে। কোনো গুরুতর দুর্ঘটনা ঘটলে তাৎক্ষণিকভাবে প্রাথমিক চিকিৎসা দিতে হবে এবং আহত ব্যক্তিকে যত দ্রুত সম্ভব অ্যাম্বুলেন্স স্ট্রেচারের মাধ্যমে হাসপাতালে স্থানান্তরের ব্যবস্থা করতে হবে। তত্ত্বাবধায়ক কর্মীদের অবশ্যই নিশ্চিত করতে হবে যে তাদের অধীনস্থ কিছু কর্মী স্ট্রেচার বহনকারী (stretcher bearers) হিসেবে প্রশিক্ষণপ্রাপ্ত।

(b) Each shop and engine shed is equipped with its own first aid cabinet and streteher box. In the event of a serious accident occurring , first aid should be rendered and them the person injured removed to hospital in an ambulance stretcher with the least possible delay, Supervising staff are responsible for seeing that some of their men are trained as stretcher bearers.

(গ) কেটে যাওয়া বা ছড়ে যাওয়ার মতো যেকোনো ধরনের ছোটখাটো দুর্ঘটনার ক্ষেত্রেও অবশ্যই প্রাথমিক চিকিৎসা দিতে হবে। অবহেলা করলে পরবর্তীতে তা গুরুতর আকার ধারণ করতে পারে।

(c) First aid treatment should also be invariably given for all minor accidents, such as cuts or bruises. Neglect may lead to move serious developments.
