ইঞ্জিনে কাজ করার সময় অবলম্বনীয় সতর্কতা : ৩০২ :

Precautions when men are working on engines: 302 :

(ক) যখন কর্মীরা কোনো ইঞ্জিন পরিষ্কার বা মেরামতের কাজে নিয়োজিত থাকবেন, তখন ইঞ্জিনের ওপর লাল রঙে রঞ্জিত এবং সাদা অক্ষরে 'NOT TO BE MOVED' (নাড়ানো নিষেধ) লেখা বোর্ড স্থাপন করতে হবে, যাতে এটি ইঞ্জিনের সামনে এবং পেছন উভয় দিক থেকে স্পষ্টভাবে দেখা যায়।

(a) When men are employed on cleaning or working on an engine , boards painted red with the words , NOT TO BE MOVED painted in white letters on them, must be placed on the engine so as to be visible from the front and rear.

(খ) কর্মীরা যখন কাজ করছেন তখন এই বোর্ডগুলো যথাস্থানে আছে কি না তা নিশ্চিত করা এবং কাজ শেষ করে কর্মীরা ইঞ্জিন ত্যাগ করার সাথে সাথে সেগুলো সরিয়ে ফেলার দায়িত্ব সংশ্লিষ্ট কাজ বা দলের দায়িত্বপ্রাপ্ত ব্যক্তির ওপর ন্যস্ত থাকবে।

(b) The man in charge of th e working is responsible for seeing this boards are in position when the when the men are working , and removed as soon as the men have left the engine.

(গ) এই বোর্ডগুলো ব্যবহারের সময় ইঞ্জিনের হ্যান্ড ব্রেক শক্তভাবে টেনে রাখতে হবে, রিভার্সিং লিভার মিড-গিয়ারে (মাঝামাঝি অবস্থানে) রাখতে হবে এবং সিলিন্ডারের ককগুলো খোলা রাখতে হবে।

(c) The hand brake must be hard on, the reversing level in mid gear and cylinder cocks open during the time the boards are in use.

(ঘ) ইঞ্জিনের ওপর 'NOT TO BE MOVED' বোর্ড থাকা অবস্থায় কোনোভাবেই ইঞ্জিনটি চালানো বা নাড়ানো যাবে না। এই বোর্ড থাকা সত্ত্বেও কোনো ব্যক্তি ইঞ্জিন সচল বা স্থানান্তরিত করলে তাকে কঠোর শাস্তির মুখোমুখি হতে হবে।

(d) An engine must not be moved so long as there is a NOT TO BE MOVED board upon it. Any person moving an engine with such a board on it will be liable to severe punishment. />
