ছুটিতে যাওয়ার সময় কর্মচারীদের অবশ্যই তাদের যোগাযোগের ঠিকানা রেখে যেতে হবে, যাতে প্রয়োজনে তাদের সাথে যোগাযোগ করা যায়।

Staff proceeding on leave must leave their address, at which they will be found, in case it should he necessary to communicate with them.

সংশ্লিষ্ট নিরক্ষর কর্মচারীদের নিয়ম ও আদেশগুলো ফোরম্যান বা তার অফিসের একজন যোগ্য ক্লার্ক দ্বারা বুঝিয়ে দিতে হবে। কর্মচারীরা কেবল এই বইয়ের নিয়মগুলোই নয়, বরং তাদের ওপর প্রযোজ্য যেকোনো বিশেষ নির্দেশনা বা আদেশ বুঝতে পেরেছে কি না তা নিশ্চিত করার জন্য উক্ত ফোরম্যান বা ক্লার্ক দায়ী থাকবেন।

Rules and orders must be explained to illiterate staff concerned, by the Foreman or a competent clerk in his office, who will be held responsible that they understand not only the rules in this book, but also any special instructions or orders affecting them.
